Aspen Roos

Performer

Aspen is a queer artist, performer, and song writer. She is planning to release her original music soon, so keep an eye out on her social media, @aspen_roos!

Imara del Chique

Drag Artist

Imara del Chique is the #1 Diva of the 805. Hailing from the Haus of Cakez, based in Ventura, this queen is ready to dazzle up your night and help bring you a show you’ll never forget. Find her on instagram @imaraxchique

Drake Munson

Comedian and Sketch Performer

Drake is a sophomore at Emerson College where he is pursuing his dreams of becoming a comedian. After a semester abroad in the Netherlands, Drake is thrilled to be back home at Hillcrest performing again. Some of his notable YAE credits include Thenardier in Les Mis, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, and Inspector Kemp in Young Frankenstein. Last summer, Drake produced and hosted the “Young Comedians Night” which, in his very humble opinion, was a raging success.

Dylan G

Drag Artist

Dylan (he/él) is a drag artist and activist who just graduated from Cal Lutheran. Healthcare worker by day, Grinch by night. A staple in the Ventura County Queer Activist community, Dylan is a force to be reckoned with, on stage and off.

Taylor Monet

Violinist, Performer, and Assistant

Taylor Monet (also known professionally as Big Papa Pasta) is a writer, artist, performer, and violinist who is very excited to be a part of Home For The Holi-Gays! They are quickly becoming a YAE regular having been a writer and performer for both the "24 Hour Play Festival" and "Young Comedian's Night," and is currently Assistant Directing She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurer's Edition! They like dad jokes, axolotls, gay pirates, and their best friend, Bailey.

Max Hendrickson

Comedian

Home for The Holi-Gays will be Max's first time performing standup for an audience this size, so make sure you clap loud! But trust me, you won't need that encouragment! Max is a longstanding writer and performer who loves science fiction, weird ass movies, Ethel Cain, 60's music, and talking about the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Ask about her Bob Dylan impression and you'll be deeply impressed.

Kai Wyatt

Sketch Performer

Kai is an up-and-coming performer who really, really loves weapons. You may have seen her in Romeo + Juliet Aren't Here, The Witch's Princess, and can see her as Lillith in YAE's She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurer's Editon!

The Naughty List

Improv Troupe

they’re gonna getcha… *ghost noises*

Jim Byrnes

Gay-me Show Host

Jim Byrnes is an actor, director and writer who has appeared on stages and screens across the US. He has worked on shows with the Theater of the Seventh Sister, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Young Artists Ensemble and Young Artists Forever. He has performed in venues as varied as the American Shakespeare Center's replica Blackfriars Playhouse and on the bed of a rusted-out pickup truck at the Philadelphia Zoo. Bits of him can be seen in the background of the Tom Cruise film War of the Worlds and the short-lived CBS tv series Hack. The production of Love's Labours Lost that he directed in 2018 for YAF won the Broadway World Award for best musical in the entire Los Angeles region that year, inexplicably beating out such high-profile fare as the Hollywood Bowl's concert version of Annie. And within all that, he still finds the time to act as YAE's resident Triva Master and a Board Member of TRANScend Youth! What a guy!

Teddy Skye Garcia

Host, Performer, and Producer

Teddy Skye Garcia (he/him) will be your fabulous host for the evening! He is a performer, singer, activist, and artist who is also the Founder and Executive Director of TRANScend Youth. He is well established in the YAE 'family,' having performed here for nearly 10 years, notably playing Fester in Addams Family, Collins in RENT, Baker in Into The Woods, and currently Chuck in She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurer's Edition. He is prepared to end up *deeply* embarassed tonight due to "Naughty or Nice: Punish The Host!" but hey, that's what live theatre's about! He likes seals, gay pirates, and performs in a barbershop chorus. Teddy Skye is incredibly thankful to the entire cast and crew who made "Home For The Holi-Gays" possible, and to the audience for attending the gayest show of his dreams!
